Reflective EPDM Roofing at Hyatt McCormick Hotel

As leaders in the roofing and waterproofing industries, it’s no wonder Knickerbocker Roofing & Paving Co. Inc. was selected to install a white E.P.D.M. roof system on a luxury hotel in Chicago. Our responsibilities were comprehensive, consisting of more than installing a roof on the 30,000 square foot, 344 feet high roof.

We installed a new Carlisle Syntec fully-adhered Brite Ply roof system over flat and tapered insulation. This white reflective rubber roof is lightweight, and long-lasting with little required maintenance. We also installed Hanover custom color concrete roof pavers on lower level roofs. Finally, we custom fabricated and installed all roof related sheet metal.

To accomplish these objectives successfully, we had to contend with high winds off Lake Michigan, coordinate with other trades working on the structure, and complete the work to a tight, pre-determined deadline. Our skilled tradesmen and women worked efficiently and carefully, meeting the timeline and recording no worksite injuries.
